Chandigarh, February 12: The family of Mohali Youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera has sought a CBI probe into the murder case. Even after six months of Vicky Middukhera's killing, the police are yet to make any arrest. Earlier, the Youth Akali Dal leader has approached the Punjab DG and sought the setting up of an SIT in the case. The family had also sought protection, but in vain. Now, the family has again sought a CBI probe into the case Notably, Youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera was shot dead in broad daylight in Mohali on August 7 last year. Four armed men had fired around 10 bullets at him at Mataur market in Mohali before fleeing the spot. Although he tried to run away from the spot, but the assailants fired more bullets at him.
