US shooting: Teenage shoots dead fellow student and teacher, found dead later
PTC News Desk: Amid a series of school shooting in the United States, another incident unfolded where a teenage shooter opened fire killing a fellow student and a teacher while wounding several others. The teenage shooter was also found dead later during the police encounter.
The latest incident took place at the Abundant Life Christian School which is a private institution in Madison, the state capital of about 270,000 people.
The incident comes close to Christmas, sending shockwaves across the city with families in mourning. "We have three people who have lost their lives. Two of those people, or persons, were pronounced dead at the scene and one while on the way to the hospital. Of the six injured and taken to local hospitals, two students remain in critical condition. Their injuries are life-threatening. A teacher and three other students were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Two of those victims, two of those survivors, have been released from the hospital," Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said.
However officials have declined to reveal the identity of the shooter.
