Trump imposes 10% tariff on Penguins-occupied Island; internet explodes with meme fest
PTC News Desk: Donald Trump's tariffs issue has become a talk of the town especially it gained momentum after US president imposed 10 per cent tariffs on uninhabited islands near Antarctica which are only occupied by penguins.
Heard Island and McDonald Islands, an external Australian territory, are among the most isolated places on Earth. The only way to approach is via boat which is a two-week long journey from Perth and reportedly no human has set foot on the islands in nearly a decade.
"The Trump administration has put a 10 percent tariff on the Heard Island and McDonald which has a population of 0 people and is inhabited only by penguins," a user commented.
