PTC News Desk: Over a thousand Canadian Hindus gathered outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, Canada on Monday evening in solidarity over the repeated attacks on Hindu temples in the country. The temple was attacked by pro-Khalistanis the day before.

The organisers of the solidarity march urged Canadian politicians and law enforcement officials not to provide more help to 'Khalistanis'.

The Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) condemned the numerous attacks on Hindu temples across Canada over the Diwali weekend and urged the country to eliminate "Hinduphobia".

"Over a thousand #CanadianHindus have gathered in Brampton to protest against the increasingly brazen attacks on Hindu Temples. Yesterday, during the sacred #Diwali weekend, Canadian Hindu temples, coast to coast, came under attack. We ask Canada to stop this #Hinduphobia now!" the post read.

An Indian consulate camp at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton, near Toronto, saw a "violent disruption" on Sunday.

Meanwhile, PM Modi criticised the attack on devotees at a temple in Canada and issued a stern message to the Trudeau government. He took to his social media and said, "I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.”
