Taiwan earthquake: At least four dead and nearly 60 injuried as powerful earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter Scale rocked Taiwan's eastern shores on Wednesday, confirmed by the US Geological Survey (USGS).

Meanwhile, one person has been killed and over 50 injured after a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan's east coast.
The tremor triggered tsunami alerts in southern Japan.
