South Korea plane crash: Heartbreaking stories behind final journey of 179 passengers who died
PTC News Desk: The tragic plane crash at South Korea's Muan International Airport claimed lives of all the 179 passengers on board which leaving only 2 survivors who are crew members. Amongst the deceased, maximum were familied who were on their new year vacations, however their destinies had some other plans and their fate was sealed.
The heartbreaking stories behind final journey of plane crash victims have started surfacing. Many who died in the horrific crash were embarked to witness some of the important events.
Among them were a 30-year-old reporter at a Gwangju-based media outlet who was travelling with her 33-year-old husband to celebrate a milestone of her professional life. The journalist was on a trip that she received for her tremendous work. The couple was celebrating the achievement but little did they know that their happiness is soon going to meet a tragic fate.
Another victim who was a 43 year old man Also among the victims was a 43-year-old man on his first overseas trip with his wife and three-year-old son. "My son's heading overseas for the first time on a night-time flight. ... The extensive schedule (of the trip) exhausted me, but I'm happy because my son had a great time," he wrote on his Instagram page, sharing a photo of his son looking out the window.
A couple who was returning from their honeymoon who tied the knot merely two weeks ago, a woman who was about to get married, a widow and cancer survivor whose husband passed away years ago, a father who took his sons on a trip to celebrate his elder son's university acceptance are some of the victims who lost their lives in accident.
