Several injured after nightclub shooting rocks New York; 2nd attack in US on New Year's day
PTC News Desk: The United States had a shaky start to New Year after fatal spate of incidents rocked the country. In a latest incident, at least 11 people were injured in a mass shooting at a nightclub in Queens, New York City, late Wednesday night.
Soon after the incident, the victims were immediately rushed to the hospitals and were provided medical aid. The New York police department so far has not released much details regarding the incident.
No information regarding the suspect or the reason for the mass shooting has come to light.
The shooting incident occured on the same day 15 people were killed after a car rammed into the crowd in central New Orleans on New Year’s Day. The accused has been identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar who has reportedly links with ISIS. Jabbar, 42 was shot dead during a shootout with police.
On the very same day, an explosion in a Cyber truck took place in Las Vegas killing driver of the vehicle. The vehicle in which explosion took place suposedly appeared to be a Tesla cybertruck. Following the incident, Elon Musk has alleged a connection between Las Vegas and New Orleans incident.
