PTC News Desk: In what authorities described as a possible case of road rage on Tuesday in the US state of Indiana, a 29-year-old man of Indian descent was shot and killed.

After a fight at a southeast Indianapolis junction, newlywed Gavin Dasaur was shot and killed by the accused while driving home with his Mexican wife. Dasaur originated in Agra. Just over two weeks before to his passing, on June 29, he and Viviana ZaMora had tied the knot.

On social media, a video of the incident has become very popular. In the footage, Dasaur can be seen ranting at the pickup truck driver as he gets out of his automobile at the crossing.

Then, holding the gun, he punches the door of the truck. In response, the pickup truck driver shoots him.

After being taken to the hospital, Dasaur passed away while receiving care. "I held him while he bled out and I was waiting for the ambulance," Viviana ZaMora, the victim's widow, said to investigators.

The accused, who is currently in custody, may have acted in self-defense, according to police. "Upon further investigation and after consultation with Marion County Prosecutor's Office, that individual was released," the spokeswoman for the police said.
