Murder over PUBG: PUBG addict shoots his sister for stopping him from playing PUBG
PUBG murder case: The most hyped online game PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) has returned to the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The famous game has once again been the source of terrible crime incidents and controversial incidents. While in several countries PUBG is banned and restrictions have been imposed, there have been claims and concerns about the video games.
There has been uptick in several crime-related incidents which take place because of PUBG addiction.

A horrific, disturbing and unsettling incident came to limelight from Pakistan where a man has fatally shot his sister after she intervened to stop him from playing Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG).
The tragic incident unfolded in Athara Hazari Tehsil of Jhang, where a young man killed his sister when she stopped him from playing the popular mobile game, PUBG.
In another separate incident, 13-year-old PUBG addict, Majid Rehman stole over Pakistan Rupee (PKR) 70,000 from his home to play PUBG. He fled with the money and spent it on purchasing in-game costumes.
After three days, the police located and apprehended the teenager, reuniting him to his family.
According to the sources, an FIR had been filed in the city police station Arifwala.
In another terrible club from July 20, a man was arrested for slaying his three sisters under the influence of the PUBG game at Thermal Power Colony. Thermal security sergeant Ejaz’s daughters Fatima, Zahra and Areesha were on Tuesday found dead with their throats slit open in a vacant quarter of the Thermal Power Colony.
City Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rehan Rasool Afghan said accused Basit allegedly killed his three sisters and later threw them in a vacant quarter. Police said they had registered a case against Basit who is a soldier.
As per the DSP, the accused was influenced by the PUBG game and has confessed to killing his sisters.
The craze of Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is on the top and the game wreaked havoc among people as the game has led to many of the casualties and life-threatening incidents.
