Donald Trump 2.0: Key appointments in the President elect's cabinet so far

PTC News Desk: Donald Trump soon after his thumping victory in race to the White House, without leaving a moment started carving out key appointments in his cabinet. From Elon Musk to Vivek Ramaswamy, all the appointments are expected to hold major impact in Trump's policies. 

Trump emerged victorious in presidential elections with a historic comeback defying assassination attempts and indictments. He will be sworn in as 47th president of the Unites States.


Here is a full list of key appointments in Trump's cabinet:

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy: The duo has been appointed to head the department of government efficiency paving way administration to dismantle government bureaucracy. Trump emphasised on eradicating "massive waste and fraud" from the government. 

John Ratcliffe, director of the CIA: Former director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has been selected by Donald Trump to be the next director of the CIA while putting rest to the speculations regarding the possibility of appointing Kash Patel for the post. "From exposing fake Russian collusion to be a Clinton campaign operation, to catching the FBI's abuse of Civil Liberties at the FISA Court, John Ratcliffe has always been a warrior for Truth and Honesty with the American Public. When 51 intelligence officials were lying about Hunter Biden's laptop, there was one, John Ratcliffe, telling the truth to the American People," Trump said in a statement.

Susan Wiles, White House Chief Of Staff: First time in the American history, a woman has been appointed to serve as White House chief of staff. Susie Wiles played a significant role in succeeding the Republican election campaign. With decades of experience in American politics, she had also been a part of former President Ronald Reagan’s campaign in 1980.

Pete Hegseth, Secretary Of Defence: A Fox News host and an army veteran, he has been inducted in the Trump's cabinet for the prestigious Defence Secretary post. Trump hails Hegseth as a “tough, smart and a true believer in America First". Out of many books that Pete Hegseth authored, one book was personally appreciated by Donald Trump.

Kristi Noem, Secretary Of Homeland Security: South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will be the next secretary of Homeland security. She has assured security of the borders and safety of the American communities. 

Elise Stefanik, UN Ambassador: She is the youngest woman to be elected to Congress in American history who has now been picked to be the US representative in the United Nations. She i sknows for her staunch advocacy for Donald Trump in the Congress.
