Goldy Brar, Sidhu Moosewala murder prime accused, among top 25 most wanted gangsters in Canada
Chandigarh, May 2: Gangster and prime accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case Goldy Brar now features among top 25 most wanted criminals in Canada.
Notably, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has listed him as number 15 among the wanted criminals. This information has surfaced through Canada-based Bolo Programme website. The website explains “BOLO” stands for “be on the lookout.” Bolo is a common law enforcement term designating an actively wanted individual.
Recently, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) chargesheeted Goldy Brar and his accomplice Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi claiming that they had links with terrorist organisations.
Goldy Brar had reached Canada on a student visa in 2017. He had claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, who was murdered in broad daylight in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29 last year. He is at large since then. Brar had allegedly planned the entire killing.
Goldy Brar belongs to Punjab's Muktsar district. A red corner notice has already been issued against the gangster.
Goldy Brar has also been named in the 1,850-page police chargesheet filed in the Mansa court on August 26 last year.
