Global Microsoft Outage: Airline issues handwritten boarding passes due to Microsoft outage

PTC News Desk: Airlines in India are manually checking passengers in as a result of a worldwide Microsoft outage that is affecting computer systems in airports all around the world.

The worldwide crisis that has devastated several industries, including aviation, supermarkets, emergency response, stock exchanges, and the media, has an impact on the majority of the nation's air carriers, including Vistara, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air.

The airlines have sent statements notifying travellers that a number of their online services have been impacted and that they are attempting to address the issues as soon as possible.

Before departing, co-founder of the US company NotionHQ Akshay Kothari posted a photo of his "first handwritten boarding pass" on X. The flight number, seat number, and boarding time were all handwritten, making the boarding process unlike anything most of us have ever experienced.
