PTC News Desk: Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who passed away recently, has left 100 million Euros (approximately Rs 900 crore) to his 33-year-old girlfriend Marta Fascina in his will, according to The Guardian. Berlusconi, a three-time Italian prime minister and billionaire media mogul, had an estimated empire worth over 6 billion Euros.

Fascina, a member of the Forza Italia party and an Italian Parliament deputy, began a relationship with Berlusconi in March 2020, and although they were not legally married, Berlusconi referred to her as his "wife" on his deathbed.

Berlusconi's two eldest children, Marina and Pier Silvio, will take control of his business empire, holding a 53 per cent stake in the Fininvest family holding. He also bequeathed 100 million Euros to his brother Paolo and 30 million Euros to Marcello Dell'Utri, a former senator from Forza Italia who served time in jail for association with the mafia.

Berlusconi, who was a dominant figure in Italian public life for decades, died at the age of 86 on June 12. His will was read in the presence of his five children and other witnesses. In the will, he divided his available assets equally between his children and signed off with a message of love and gratitude to his family.

Throughout his life, Berlusconi faced numerous legal battles and scandals, including the infamous "Bunga Bunga" parties. Despite his health challenges, including his battle with leukemia, he remained politically active as a senator and partner in the right-wing government. He was hospitalized for COVID-19 in 2020 and faced further health complications before his passing in 2023.
