PTC News Desk: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a $250,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, one of the ten most wanted fugitives. Patel, an Indian National who hails from Viramgam in Ahmedabad, is wanted for the alleged murder of his wife.

Patel has been on the run since 2015, when he allegedly killed his wife, Palak inside a Dunkin' Donuts in Hanover, Maryland.

Patel, who was 24 at the time, attacked his 21-year-old wife in the face with a kitchen knife. He then stabbed her multiple times in the backroom of the shop where they both worked while customers were still present, according to officials cited by WTOP radio.

The couple's visas expired about a month before the murder, and officers believe Palak Patel wanted to return to India, but her husband opposed it.

The murder came to light after a customer who couldn't see any employees at the store reported the incident to authorities. The police discovered Palak's body with many stab wounds, but Patel had already fled the crime scene.

Following the murder, Patel returned to his residence and took a cab with some documents.

Patel was put on the 'most wanted' list in 2017.
