'Trudeau will be gone': Elon Musk forecasts Canadian PM's exit in next elections
PTC News Desk: Tesla CEO and tech giant Elon Musk who has been at the forefront in supporting Donald Trump has now predicted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's fate. After Trump's historic comebak in Presidential elections, Musk has now predicted Trudeau's downfall in the next general elections.
The Canadian federal elections are scheduled to take place on October 20, 2025. The prediction comes as Justin Trudeau's party has been facing political challenges from opposition government ever since Jagmeet Singh's New Democratic Party parted ways with Trudeau's minority government which has now increased his vulnerability to loose power.
Earlier also Musk took potshots over Trudeau administration's approach to free speech particularly regarding new regulations requiring online streaming services to register for government oversight.
Trump's potential comeback can significantly impact Canada as it directs 75% of its exports to the United States which however can be altered with Trump's policies. Additionally, diplomatic tensions between India and Canada have taken a sour turn with recent developments. India has expressed severe concerns about extremism and anti-India activities in Canada, urging Canadian authorities to address these issues.
