'Say it to my face': Canadian politician Jagmeet Singh confronts protesters as they heckle him
PTC News Desk: A video has surfaced on the internet showing Canadian politician Jagmeet Singh confronting a man who heckled him as he was leaving Parliament Hill on Tuesday.
In a video, two people can be seen following Singh from a distance as he exits West Block, with one appearing to call the NDP leader a "corrupted bastard."
In the video, Singh responds by turning around and asking the people who made the comment if they wanted to repeat it to his face. The video shows both men denying they made the comment.
The politician who is known for his calm nature can be seen approaching the hecklers and confronting one of the men. "Was it you or not?" Singh is shown asking the man, who responds that the comment was made by someone behind him. "You sure it's not you?" Singh asks after the man fails to identify who made the comment.

"A hundred percent," the man says. Then Singh says, “Cause you’re a coward. You’re not going to say it to my face."
"If I said something like that to you, I'd admit it," the man responds, and Singh starts to walk away. The video shows the NDP leader being approached by the second man, who begins to grill him about confidence votes, now that the NDP has the authority to pull the plug on Justin Trudeau's minority Liberals. Singh then waves him off and walks away.
