Canada: Several killed as car rams into crowd at Vancouver festival; driver arrested
PTC News Desk: In a horrific incident, several people were killed after a car rammed into crowd during a festival in Canada's Vancouver on Saturday night, local police said.
"The driver is in custody. We will provide more information as the investigation unfolds," said the Vancouver Police in a statement.

Following the incident, Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim expressed his shock at the “horrific incident” at the Lapu Lapu Day festival. “We will work to provide more information as soon as we can, but at this time Vancouver police have confirmed that there are a number of fatalities and multiple injuries,” Sim said.
“Our thoughts are with all those affected and with Vancouver’s Filipino community during this incredibly difficult time," he added.
However the officials are yet to confirm the number of casualties. Meanwhile the videos emerging from the horrific scene shows the bodies strewn across the street.
