More than 70 killed in Bangladesh clashes, centre asks Indians to 'be in touch'

Bangladesh Unrest: Following 70 deaths in new skirmishes between protestors and Awami League supporters, India has urged its citizens residing in Bangladesh to be in contact and vigilant. Intense fights today also resulted in dozens of injuries.

  9. Four Awami League supporters were killed and over 100 people injured in Rangpur; two people were killed in Bogra and Magura, including a Chhatra Dal leader.

  10. Protesters under the Anti-Discrimination Students Movement demanded Ms. Hasina's resignation and justice for those killed in the quota reform protests.

  11. Several vehicles at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) were torched on Sunday by unidentified individuals, and people were seen vandalizing cars, ambulances, motorcycles, and buses.

  12. Protesters rejected Ms. Hasina's invitation for dialogue, consolidating their demands for the government's resignation.
