Deadly terrorist attack strikes Turkey, 3 killed, several injured
PTC News Desk: A terrorist attack took place at the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) near Ankara followed by gunfire at the scene.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed on social media platform X, saying, “A terrorist attack was carried out on the TUSAS facilities in Kahramankazan, Ankara. Unfortunately, there are martyrs and injured individuals.”
Two terrorists who perpetrated the attack have been gunned down. Three civilians have also been killed and several injured in this ghastly attack.
Footage from the scene broadcast by local media initially showed huge clouds of smoke and a large fire raging at the site in Kahramankazan, a small town some 40 kilometres (25 miles) north of Ankara. Media have reported a loud explosion at the site and showed footage of an exchange of gunfire there.
A cctv from the attack scene has been surfacing showing a man in plane clothes carrying a backpack and an assault rifle. Turkey's allias have exuded support in the wake of bombing.
