Woman gang-raped in hospital, 5 detained
A group of hospital staffers gang-raped a woman patient in a hospital in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Police today detained five people in this case.
The woman was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital after she was experiencing a breathing problem. When no one was there, the hospital staffers made her unconscious by giving her an injection. Following which three persons gang-raped her.

A police officer told the media that CCTV cameras of the hospital were switched off at the time of the crime. He further told that four men and a woman have been taken into custody.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC. The investigation in the matter is underway.
