WATCH: Sikh priest Sant Baba Ram Singh’s last rites in Karnal
The last rites of Sant Baba Ram Singh Ji (Nanaksar Singhra Karnal Waale), who committed sacrificed his life for farmers, was performed in Karnal on Friday. In a suicide note, he had written that he was not able to bear the pain and plight of the protesting farmers.
“I saw the farmers’ plight and their fight on the streets for their own rights. I have seen the pain of the farmers as they are on the streets for their rights. I am deeply pained. The government is not doing justice to them. This is injustice, and tolerating injustice is sin,” Sant Baba Ram Singh Ji (Nanaksar Singhra Karnal Waale) wrote in a purported suicide note.

Meanwhile, some of the farm leaders who were protesting at the Delhi borders were also present during the last rites.

In another note recovered, the Sikh priest also stated that he was deeply pained when he visited the Singhu border where he saw farmers sitting on the streets for their rights.
He further, in his last note, blamed RSS and said that it has been determined to destroy the reputation of the Sikh community as they (RSS) have been attacking the Sikh community.
He said the current situation is like having a bullet of injustice, adding that a gunshot kills only a particular person while the bullet of injustice hit every member and the coming generation; the bullet of hunger and slavery.
