Watch: Sidhu Moosewala's last CCTV footage with fans few minutes before crime
Chandigarh, June 6: At a time when the entire world is mourning the untimely death of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala, a CCTV footage just a few minutes before he was brutally murdered has surfaced. In the CCTV footage, some youths can be seen stopping the vehicle of Sidhu Moosewala's near his village in Punjab's Mansa to get selfies clicked. Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala was killed on May 29. He was hit by around 24 bullets by the assailants and gunpowder was also found on his body. The singer-turned-politician was shot dead by unidentified assailants at Jawaharke village in Mansa district of Punjab on May 29, a day after the Punjab Government curtailed his security cover. While the incident took place at 5.25 pm and the police got information at 5.50 pm. The 28-year-old Punjabi singer had fought the recent assembly election in Punjab on a Congress ticket from Mansa. The Punjab Police recently detained six persons from Dehradun's Peliyon Police Chowki area in connection with Moosewala's murder. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has also begun questioning gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in Tihar jail in connection with Sidhu Moosewala's murder case after Canada-based Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar is a close aide of Bishnoi, who is also said to be involved in the singer's murder. The Punjab Police have registered an FIR in Mansa against unknown persons under Sections 302, 307, and 341 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.
