Watch Antim Ardas: It's as if a part of Sidhu Moosewala's kin, friends and fans has gone with him
Chandigarh, June 8: Undeterred by the scorching hot weather conditions, people from all walks of life or religious leanings came together at Anaj Mandi in Punjab's Mansa today (June 8) to pay their last respects to Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala at his Antim Ardas. He was shot dead in broad daylight on May 29. No matter if anyone ever listened to his songs or was his fan or not, his death has left a void that will never be filled. It seems if a part of Sidhu Moosewala's Kin, friends and fans has gone with him. Their love for the singer is so intense that the field where the late singer's funeral took place a few days ago has turned into a pilgrimage of sort. People not only from nearby districts, but also from distant places of Punjab and even other districts are coming to pay homage to the slain singer. A brick platform has been raised at the site with a picture of Sidhu Moosewala. Members of his fraternity and even politicians have also posted several emotional messages in memory of the slain singer.
Farewell my brother! At the Bhog and Antim Ardas ceremony of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewla. To the world he was a great singer, to me he was like a younger brother. Will always remain in my thoughts and memories. And for his parents, I'll always be there. pic.twitter.com/cYgZ6j1EE7 — Amarinder Singh Raja Warring (@RajaBrar_INC) June 8, 2022
