Manu Bhaker And This Chandigarh College Has A Special Connection

Manu Bhaker became the first Indian woman to win a shooting medal, securing a historic bronze at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Manu carved her name on the walls of DAV College in Chandigarh.

While Manu has graduated from Delhi University, she and other international shooters decided to enrol at DAV College in Sector 10, Chandigarh, in 2022.

She enrolled in the MA in Public Administration program and was going to take the second-year final exams.

Manu was unable to take her final exams in MA Public Administration this year, but she is expected to retake them after returning from the Olympics as a special case from Panjab University.

She is currently pursuing a diploma in mass communications after being unable to take the final exams.

Manu has also been a regular attendee at college activities as well as Late Aryan Mann Foundation programs, which were established in memory of Associate Professor Amanendra Mann's son, who passed away from a brain tumour.
