Virat Kohli’s daughter Vamika's first photo goes viral, Kohli claims 'we were caught off-gaurd'; Netizens compare her with Taimur

New Delhi, January 24: While Virat Kohli and Anushka and Virat Kohli were keeping the privacy over the pictures of their daughter Vamika, their guard appeared to be down in South Africa where Team India was playing an ODI series against the Proteas. Anushka Sharma was spotted watching the match with Vamika in her arms and some screenshots from the match broadcast have flooded the social media. Here are a few hilarious memes that Twitterati had put up on the social media. A person commented: "Please respect their privacy and delete this." Another asked why Anushka had lifted Vamika up to the cameras if she didn't want her daughter's face shown. Some other accounts have also shared the pictures, with a similar division of opinion in the comments. There has been some criticism of the broadcaster for showing Anushka and Vamika during the coverage though many have questioned why the actress hadn't been more careful with cameras around. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have previously requested media and fans not to circulate photos of Vamika. However, Indian batter Virat Kohli clarifying on Monday said that he along with his wife Anushka Sharma have been caught off-guard after images of their daughter Vamika went viral on social media. When Kohli brought up his half-century, Kohli gestured towards Vamika and he celebrated with a cradle gesture. "Hi guys, we realize that our daughter's images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and did not know that the camera was on us," Kohli said in his Instagram story. "Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate it if Vamika's images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you," he added. This was the first time that Vamika's photos were seen anywhere, and immediately the images started doing the rounds on social media. -PTC News
