Vijay Nair sent to 14-day judicial custody in Delhi liquor scam
New Delhi, October 6
: Rouse Delhi Court of Delhi sent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) communication in-charge Vijay Nair, to judicial custody for 14 days in connection with alleged irregularities in the Delhi excise policy case.
Special Judge M K Nagpal sent Nair to judicial custody after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted that his custody was no longer needed.

He will now be produced in court on October 20.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Vjay Nair on September 27.
Nair was one of the key conspirators and was involved in the alleged irregularities in the allocation of liquor licenses. The CBI had sought a seven-day remand to interrogate Vijay Nair in the corruption case.
