Chandrika Dixit, popularly known as the Vada Pav girl from Delhi is now also a Bigg Boss OTT3 contestant. Originally from Indore, Chandrika gained prominence for her vada pav stall in Delhi's Sainik Vihar area.
Despite her widespread recognition, Chandrika has encountered challenges in managing her stall, including harassment from municipal officials seeking bribes, a common issue faced by street vendors in India. She also faced legal trouble when attempting to organise a Bhandara for her son's birthday, resulting in her arrest by the police.
Prior to her stint on Bigg Boss, Chandrika shared that she earns Rs 40,000 per day through her stall, largely due to her social media following and online presence.
While some may have viewed her videos purely for entertainment, a man found her so inspiring that he chose to have her face tattooed on his arm.
A video showing the tattoo was posted on Instagram by Mahesh Chavan, showing a man visiting the tattoo parlour and then asking the receptionist to tattoo Chandrika Dixit's face on his hand along with a text "Big Boss Winner". As he was inspired by Dixit when he was jobless and thinks of Dixit as her "guru" and after following in her footsteps, he decided to open a vada pav stall.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Chandrika Dixit opens up about her childhood. She reveals that her father turned to alcohol after her mother's demise and said, "After my mom passed away, my father became an alcoholic. He would leave me with different relatives and got married multiple times. I never had a bond with him."
