A video of the event, which is circulating on social media, shows the groom, dressed in a grey suit and red turban, leaping on the bike of a passer-by and chasing the mini-truck driver down the highway.
At one point, he hops off the bike and tries to climb on the mini-truck. In the footage, the groom can be seen entering and stopping the vehicle from the window.
Seconds later, the groom pushed the driver out of his vehicle and began hitting him, along with two other people from the wedding ceremony. Another person riding a bike with cylinders began to hit the driver as well.
The driver is seen pleading with the groom to spare him.
The driver reportedly assured the groom that he had no intention of stealing and had "mistakenly" stolen the garland of money. No official complaint was filed regarding this incident, which went viral.
