New Delhi, June 18: Vavilala Chidvila Reddy from the Hyderabad zone has achieved the highest rank in the JEE-Advanced exam, the results of which were announced on Sunday. Conducted by IIT-Guwahati this year, the exam saw Reddy obtain an impressive score of 341 out of 360 marks.Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree, from the IIT-Hyderabad zone, emerged as the top female performer, securing 298 marks.According to a senior official from IIT Guwahati, a total of 1,80,372 students appeared for both papers of the IIT-JEE Advanced exam, out of which 43,773 students qualified. Among the qualifiers, 36,204 were male students, while 7,509 were female students, highlighting the increasing participation of women in engineering entrance exams.JEE-Main serves as the qualifying examination for JEE-Advanced, which is the gateway to prestigious engineering colleges across the country.
