Searching for the best and understanding partner seems like a never-ending checklist as choosing a lifelong partner is certainly a big decision!

Recently, a female relationship coach is gaining widespread attention online as her confession video on why she doesn't date Indian men is doing viral on the Internet and sparked debate.

In the Instagram confession video going viral, she cited three main reasons: she believes they lack romantic skills, fail to understand subtle gestures, and are not adept at managing household responsibilities

The video has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with some users agreeing with her views while others dismiss them as "ridiculous."

A self-described 'Relationship & Life Coach’ Chetna Chakravarthy shared the video and captioned it “Confession time. The reason my single clients find love and can navigate the crazy world of dating is because I've been there, done that and my tools are tried and tested.

There is nothing an urban, educated girl of today finds sexier than communication and presence. #justsaying”

Adding a disclaimer at the end, she wrote, “The opinions expressed on my account are solely mine. They are not necessarily the views of anyone else especially my family, friends or clients. They are not meant to influence or dictate anyone's decisions and are by no means a rule of thumb.”

Her first reason points to communication issues: "They haven't learned how to handle difficult conversations. When they struggle to make a point, they often go silent and label the woman as stubborn, argumentative, or aggressive. Alternatively, they may become egotistical and abusive."

Regarding her second point, she stated, "They lack an understanding of romance," emphasising that romance involves "small, daily gestures" rather than just grand gifts or elaborate acts. Finally, Chakravarthy observed that many men don’t know how to manage household responsibilities. "It’s about contributing to the home because you share it, not because you're doing a favor for your partner," she explained in the video.

How does video spark debate?

Since the video was shared, it received multiple comments and views. One user wrote, “Thank You for not dating us. You should absolutely keep away from all Indian men actually.”

Another wrote, “Would you kindly exclude my country name from your video? My country men are not known for what you just said”

One user trolled and said, “Aunty sari dunia groom lena , fir bhi single hi reh jaogi . Everyone has flaws , before pointing out others . Look within !!”
