The Bollywood superstar, whose net worth stands at an estimated Rs 7,300 crore, has left behind his contemporaries in terms of tax contributions.
Following close behind is Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay, who has paid Rs 80 crore in taxes. His net worth is reported to be around Rs 800 crore. Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan also rank among the top five highest taxpayers in the Indian entertainment industry.
Among cricketers, Virat Kohli tops the list, having paid Rs 66 crore in taxes. Mahendra Singh Dhoni follows with a contribution of Rs 38 crore.
