Punjab cop suspended for influencer's Instagram reel stunt with police vehicle
Jalandhar, September 29: In a startling turn of events, a police officer in Punjab has been suspended due to a video that rapidly gained notoriety across various social media platforms. The video features a social media influencer, Payal Param, dancing exuberantly on the bonnet of a police vehicle, all set to the beats of an upbeat Punjabi song. The incident has stirred up considerable controversy, leading to official action against the Station House Officer (SHO) in Jalandhar, who is alleged to have permitted Ms. Param to employ the police vehicle for an Instagram reel.
The video, which has now garnered substantial attention, not only showcases the influencer using the police vehicle as a prop but also captures her making an offensive gesture. Towards the end of the video, a man donning a police uniform can be seen alongside the woman, further adding to the perplexity of the situation.
