Popular radio jockey RJ Simran, known as 'Jammu Ki Dhadkan', found dead in Gurugram
PTC Web Desk: Simran Singh, a highly popular freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir, was found dead in her Gurugram apartment. Known as RJ Simran to her nearly seven lakh Instagram followers, the 25-year-old's sudden death is being investigated by the police, who suspect it to be a case of suicide.
Simran, also known as "Jammu Ki Dhadkan" (Heartbeat of Jammu), had last posted a reel on December 13, where she described herself as "just a girl with endless giggles and her gown, taking over the beach."
Her body was discovered at her Sector 47 apartment in Gurugram after a friend, who had been staying with her, alerted the police. The body has been handed over to her family for final rites.
"Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah extended their heartfelt condolences to Simran’s family, friends, and countless fans during this difficult time. They prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to her loved ones to bear this unimaginable loss," read a post by the Jammu Kashmir National Conference on X.
