Diljit Dosanjh’s heartfelt gesture to fan, her son moves hearts during Hyderabad concert
PTC Web Desk: Diljit Dosanjh once again proved why he is loved by millions of fans worldwide with a touching moment at his recent Hyderabad concert. This time, the spotlight was on a dedicated fan, Pushpinder Kaur, and her young son, Anhadpreet Singh, who has attended nearly all of Diljit’s concerts, except the one in Abu Dhabi.
The heartwarming exchange was shared on social media by Team Dosanjh, featuring a video from the concert. In the clip, Diljit can be seen standing on stage, holding an art piece with a cutout of himself and Anhadpreet. The two had previously shared a special moment at Diljit’s Jaipur show, where they danced together, and the singer even kissed the young fan.
Pushpinder Kaur, standing next to her toddler in the crowd, spoke fondly of their journey to attend Diljit’s shows, starting with Jaipur and then Hyderabad. She shared in Punjabi, “First we took him to Jaipur, now Hyderabad. He told us to go to Abu Dhabi. We didn’t get tickets, though we genuinely tried to get them.” The heartfelt moment was made even more endearing when Pushpinder revealed that her toddler, when asked about the money for tickets, quoted a line from Diljit’s song Born to Shine – “Paise Puse Baare Billo Soche Duniya, Jatt Paida Hoya Bas Chaun Vaaste.”
The clip also showed Diljit Dosanjh's warm gesture as he gave Anhadpreet a pair of his gloves, which the fan will surely treasure forever. The video was shared with the caption, “DIL-LUMINATI TOUR 24,” and it resonated deeply with fans, particularly Anhadpreet’s family.
Reacting to the touching video, Pushpinder expressed her gratitude with a heartfelt message to Diljit: “Thank you @diljitdosanjh paaji for this wonderful gesture, you are an EMOTION, we all love you from the core of our heart, keep spreading the love.” Diljit Dosanjh not only liked the post but also shared the video on his Instagram Stories with the simple yet powerful caption, "Love my fans."
In a separate post, Anhadpreet also expressed his appreciation, sharing a personal video of Diljit giving him a flying kiss and singing 'Tu Mujhe Kabool' for him. The post read, “Another day, another concert, one more gesture of yours that I will be cherishing for my whole life, can’t thank you enough.” Anhadpreet went on to thank Diljit for accepting the gift he had presented, for the gloves, and, most importantly, for the flying kiss and hug that meant so much to him. “It’s unbelievable that you recognise your fans and acknowledge them even amongst thousands of people, that’s why you are @diljitdosanjh,” he wrote. “I have kept it close to my heart and can feel it whenever I want to by closing my eyes."
