Bigg Boss fame Ajaz Khan secures only 103 votes despite 5.6 Million Instagram followers
PTC Web Desk: Former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan, known for his huge social media following, has made headlines for his poor performance in the Maharashtra Assembly election 2024 from the Versova seat. Despite boasting more than 5.6 million followers on Instagram, the actor has managed to secure just 103 votes so far, as per the Election Commission's tally.
The stark contrast between Khan's massive online presence and his dismal performance at the polls has sparked a wave of social media reactions.
One X user wrote, "Ajaz Khan, who has 5.6 million followers on Instagram, got only 79 votes. When you realise 16-year-olds can't vote in state elections like they do in Bigg Boss evictions."
In a surprising turn, unverified claims suggested that even Khan's own family members may not have cast their votes in his favour.
The Versova seat, which traditionally remains a Congress stronghold, saw a significant voter turnout of 42.2%. Despite the celebrity factor, Khan’s performance highlights that social media fame doesn't always guarantee success at the ballot box.
