Tractor March: Ball in Delhi Police court

Ahead of the proposed Tractor March in Delhi on Republic Day (January 26), the Delhi Police and farmers held another round of meeting on Wednesday after which the ball is now in Delhi police court. Today's meeting between farmers and Delhi Police was a follow-up of yesterday's meeting in which the farmers had shared a route-map for Tractor March in the national capital on Republic Day. The farmers informed the police that they will perform the Kisan Republic Day parade on Delhi's outer ring while the police on Wednesday asked the leaders to not go for the outer ring. On behalf of farmers, the Kisan leaders including Darshan Pal, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Jagjit Singh Dhaliwal, Hanan Mola, Shiv Kumar Kakka, Jagmohan Singh were present during the meeting while for Delhi Police and Haryana Police, senior officials were present. The farmers are adamant about carrying a Tractor march on Delhi's outer ring while the police has asked the farm leaders to avoid the route.
