Tractor March Delhi: Protesting farmers on Tuesday hoisted a flag at the Red Fort in Delhi after a tractor march in Delhi on Republic Day 2021.
In several districts of Haryana, a clash happened between police and protesters.

Terming the violence during Tuesday’s tractor rally in the national capital as unacceptable, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar ordered high alert in the state.
He has directed Director General of Police Manoj Yadav to ensure that law and order in the state is not disturbed at any cost.
CM took this decision after reviewing the situation at a high-level meeting with state’s top functionaries here.
According to official sources, in view of the deteriorating situation, Faridabad District Magistrate Yashpal has issued orders to enforce Section 144 in the district.
Section 144 of
Indian Penal Code prohibits the gathering of five or more persons, holding of public meetings, and carrying of firearms.

Violence was reported by the people after which high alerts have been issued in Punjab and other districts of Haryana and Punjab.

Farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders. Despite 11 rounds of meeting between the protesting farmers and the Centre, no conclusion has come out so far. No date has been fixed for the next meeting.

The farmers have been protesting against the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
