The couple tied knot where only close relatives and friends were present. According to sources , Kirandeep Kaur came to Punjab from the UK just a week before. When she came to Punjab the soon-to-be couple's parents met each other and finalised the wedding.
Meanwhile, as we have seen Amritpal Singh is a staunch supporter of Khalistan. On September 29, 2022, 29-year-old Amritpal Singh became the President of 'Waris Punjab De'- an organisation founded by late Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu that aimed to protect the rights of Punjab and raise social issues.
Notably, Deep Sidhu who was also one of the accused in the 2021 Republic Day riots, died in a road accident on 15th February 2022. Interestingly, reports suggest that Deep Sidhu's family distanced itself from the new president Amritpal Singh who is known for openly endorsing Khalistan and slain Khalistani Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
