'Risking your life is not easy': Sukhbir Singh Badal lauds cops who nabbed shooter
PTC News Desk: Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal has lauded the cops who saved his life and helped foil an assassination attempt.
He took to his social media and appreciated the courage of the policemen who risked their lives and saved his life. He thanked both the cops for their alertness and prompt action that helped in thwarting an assassination attempt and grabbing the shooter.
"Risking your life to save someone's life is not an easy thing. ASI Jasveer Singh and ASI Hira Singh, both of them have been a crucial part of Badal family since Sardar Prakash Singh Badal's time. My family and I cannot repay the courage and loyalty shown by them yesterday. May God bless them with long life, good health and all happiness, " said Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Unfazed by narrow escape, Sukhbir Singh Badal was back at his penance at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib in Anandpur Sahib.
For the unversed, Sukhbir Singh Badal wa shot at while he was undergoing his religious penance at Golden Temple in Amritsar. A man slowly went closer towards Badal's wheelchair and opened fire. However Badal had close shave all thanks to the cops deployed for his security who immediately grabbed shooters' hands and the bullet hit at the walls of the premises.
