Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa put a hilarious spin on Heeramandi's "ek baar dekh lijiye" scene | Watch Now
PTC News Desk: The most recent Instagram video from Diljit Dosanjh has a humorous Heeramandi twist. On social media, the actor—who will soon be seen on the big screen in the Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet 3—posted a humorous video with his co-star Neeru Bajwa.
Neeru can be seen in the reel reenacting the well-known speech from Heeramandi of Alamzeb, performed by Sharmin Segal. Seated on the ground, clutching a platter of fruits, Neeru remarks with a hint of sarcasm, "Ek baar dekh lijiye, 5-10 lakh de dijiye."
While deewana is good, aap bas property mere naam kardijiye. Diljit, who at first takes an apple from the platter, keeps it back in disbelief after hearing this.
In case you missed it, Taha Shah Badussha's character Tajdar receives a loving couplet recited by Sharmin Segal's character Alamzeb in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed Netflix series Heeramandi. "Ek baar dekh lijiye, deewana bana dijiye," she exclaims. Taiyar hum marne ko hai, parvana bana dijiye.
Diljit Dosanjh captioned the photo, "5 10 Laakh De Dijiye JATT & JULIET," and tagged Neeru Bajwa. Mrunal Thakur responded to the tweet by emoji-ing a happy face with tears of pleasure. "Hahahah," said TV actress Krishna Mukherjee. Himanshi Khurana, a Punjabi model and former Bigg Boss competitor, described it as "cute." Singer Abdu Rozik, another former Bigg Boss contestant, also sent emojis of happy tears.
