Bumble founder reveals unusual future of dating: 'No more talking to 600 people'

PTC News Desk: Whitney Wolfe Herd, the creator of Bumble, thinks her app can offer a way out for everyone who finds dating challenging. "If you wanna get out there, there is a world where your [AI] dating concierge could go and date for you with other [AI] dating concierges," the speaker stated during the Bloomberg Technology Summit.

After that, you may skip talking to everyone in San Francisco and 600 other people." She stated that Bumble has been using artificial intelligence (AI) even before it became "very trendy" following the launch of Opening Moves, a function that lets women message their matches automatically.

Additionally, Bumble has introduced an AI-powered deception detector to rid the platform of spam, frauds, and phony profiles.

"For instance, you might be speaking with your AI dating concierge soon and sharing your securities," she clarified. I recently went through a breakup, I struggle with commitment, and it might help you develop more positive self-thoughts. After that, it might provide you with helpful advice for interacting with others."

"Always putting women in the driver's seat — not to put men down — to actually recalibrate the way we all treat each other," she remarked while discussing the purpose of her app. Thus, AI will adhere to the same set of principles, and we will dive in headfirst.
