Tokyo Olympics 2020: India today saw a shocking defeat as six-time world champion M C Mary Kom lost it to Colombia's Ingrit Valencia in Boxing Women's Flyweight (48-51kg) Preliminaries Round of 16 on Thursday. With this, India lost the hope of winning the second medal at Tokyo 2020. She went down to 2016 edition’s bronze-medallist Ingrit Valencia in the fiercely-fought match here on Thursday. The two were attacking each other from the word go. Mary Kom fought back to claim the second and the third round by 2-3 margins however, the slender edge that Valencia took in the opening round tilted the final scores in her favour.
