Tokyo Olympics 2020: Bronze medalist Indian men’s hockey team to reach Delhi today
After scripting history at Tokyo Olympics 2020, the Indian men’s hockey team would land in Delhi on Monday, August 9. The team would meet President Ram Nath Kovind. The bronze-medalist Indian men's hockey team will then land in Amritsar, Punjab, on August 10. The team would be welcomed by the Punjab government and thousands of Punjabis who are proud of the Indian men's hockey team. Manpreet Singh’s mother was in tears of joy after Team India scripted history. She said that Manpreet's hard work has paid off. She said that she had told Manpreet to bring gold but she was happy that Team India got a medal. There was no limit to her happiness.
