To see Rahul Gandhi becoming PM one will have to wait an eternity: Sukhbir Singh Badal
Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal and former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Monday took a dig at Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on his remark over Rahul Gandhi becoming Prime Minister.
Captain Amarinder Singh had said, "The law is made. The bills have been passed in the Parliament. But who says that an amendment cannot be made to those laws. I request Rahul Ji to scrap these black laws when he becomes the PM with a majority in the Lok Sabha."
To this, Sukhbir Singh Badal tweeted: "To see Rahul Gandhi becoming PM one will have to wait an eternity so it would be better Captain Amarinder Singh Ji if you call a special Assembly session immediately to repeal your 2017 amendments in the state APMC Act and declare the state a 'Mandi' to nullify the Central laws in Punjab."

Likewise, Harsimrat Kaur Badal had tweeted: "Rahul Gandhi needs to wait a lifetime to become PM Capt Sahab, but what stops you from practicing what you preached?"
"Go by our demand and call a special Vidhan Sabha session immediately to repeal your own 2017 Act. Hope Punjab won’t have to wait a year to get rid of you as well as the anti-farmer Act," Harsimrat added.

Earlier in the day, Harsimrat Kaur Badal has asked a few questions to Rahul Gandhi.
She wrote: "Before your tractor drama ends in Punjab, Rahul Gandhi, please tell the people here: 1) Reason for you and your MPs' absence in Parliament during voting for anti-farmer bills. 2) When will your Chief Minister repeal his own 14 Aug 2017 Act which allowed private mandis in Punjab?"
"3) Explain your own 2019 LS manifesto in which you promised to “repeal APMC Act & make trade in Agri produce free from all restrictions". Your Capt working "hand in glove" with the Centre is now crystal clear. Are you also a part of it?" she added.
