Suspension on Gurnam Singh Charuni lifted: Samyukta Kisan Morcha

Farmers Protest against Farm Laws 2020: The Samyukta Kisan Morcha on Monday lifted the suspension of Gurnam Singh Charuni and announced that he will go for the next meeting with the Centre scheduled to be held on January 19. Samyukta Kisan Morcha on Monday addressed a press conference where it issued a clarification on questions related to Gurnam Singh Charuni's all-party meeting. Earlier on Sunday, the farmers union had said that Samyukta Kisan Morcha had no connection with an all-party meeting. Meanwhile, farmer leader Yoginder Yadav said that the presence of Gurnam Singh Charuni in an all-party meeting was his personal call. "He (Charuni) has assured the committee that he will not attend any such meetings in the future and will not let the movement get affected," he said. Earlier in the day, the Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait said that "Tomorrow, we will go for meeting with the government, but it is not expected that some solution will come. On January 26, we will take up a tractor rally on Delhi's Outer Ring Road."
