Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty is active member of 'drug syndicate', says NCB
Sushant Singh Rajput case: In a major breakthrough, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Following the arrest, she was produced before the magistrate through video conferencing after which she was sent to judicial custody of 14 days by the magistrate. As per the report, Rhea Chakraborty is being taken to Byculla jail. In its remand application of Rhea Chakraborty, the NCB has stated that she is an active member of a "drug syndicate" and used to manage finance for drug procurement along with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB also said that Chakraborty has revealed her involvement in the procurement of drugs and financial transactions and also her instructions to Dipesh Sawant, Showik Chakraborty, and Miranda. Dipesh Sawant, Showik Chakraborty, and Samuel Miranda have already been arrested in the for the same. As per the NCB's remand copy, Rhea Chakraborty has acknowledged the statements of other accused. It is clear that she used to procure drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput's consumption, a report stated. It has also been highlighted that every delivery and payment of drugs was in conscious knowledge of Rhea Chakraborty. -PTC News
