Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday slammed BJP leader Harjit Singh Grewal for his statement over farmers' protest. This is an insult to patriotic farmers and slur on their sacrifices. If farmers are anti-national, then so I am as I come from a farming family and serve a party whose core are farmers." Farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana, have been protesting on the different borders of the national capital since November 26 last year against the three farm laws.
