Sukhbir Singh Badal objects to Harji Grewal's anti-national remark
Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday slammed BJP leader Harjit Singh Grewal for his statement over farmers' protest. Harjit Singh Grewal has alleged nexus of farmers with China and Pakistan. This is an insult to patriotic farmers and slur on their sacrifices. If farmers are anti-national, then so I am as I come from a farming family and serve a party whose core are farmers." Farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana, have been protesting on the different borders of the national capital since November 26 last year against the three farm laws. These laws are Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. -PTC News
