PTC News Desk: Virat Kohli received a grand welcome upon his arrival at the hotel in Kanpur where the Indian team is staying for its second Test against Bangladesh. Despite his usual friendly nature, Kohli had to awkwardly reject a handshake from a hotel staff member due to the overwhelming welcome.
Kohli was greeted by a large crowd of hotel staff and fans who were excited to see him. In addition to flowers, gifts, and a traditional tilak, the cricket star was given a rudraksha, which represents blessings.
Kohli, holding a bouquet in one hand and his personal belongings in the other, gracefully acknowledged the warm gestures but was unable to accept a handshake from the staff member at the hotel. Kohli said with an awkward smile, "Sir, 2 hi haath hain (I've only got two hands)," and made up for the missed handshake with a 'thank you'.

Kohli arrived in Kanpur with teammate Rishabh Pant and coach Gautam Gambhir, ready for the second Test in the series. Kohli, who struggled in the first Test in Chennai with scores of 6 and 17, will be hoping to regain form as India hopes for a solid showing in the series.
