T20 World Cup: Netherlands stun South Africa in Adelaide; India in semis
T20 World Cup; India qualify for semis: India did not have to wait until their final Super 12 match to qualify for the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022, as they advanced to the last four after South Africa was stunned by the Netherlands in Adelaide on Sunday.

South Africa were defeated by the already-eliminated Netherlands in match No.40 of the ICC World T20 2022 at the Adelaide Oval. South Africa needed a win over the Dutch to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup, the grandest stage of them all.
South African batters choked and failed to chase a modest 159-run target as Dutch bowlers limited them to 145/8 in 20 overs. Brandon Glover stood with the ball for the Netherlands, taking three wickets in two overs.
India advanced to the T20 World Cup semi-finals after South Africa was defeated by the Dutch team.
The match between Pakistan and Bangladesh has now effectively become a quarterfinal, with the winner joining India in the semi-finals from Group 2.
