India vs Zimbabwe: India wins toss, opts to bowl first
India vs Zimbabwe: In Harare, India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first against Zimbabwe in the fourth T20I match. Young Chennai Super Kings pacer Tushar Deshpande has been brought into the playing XI, replacing Avesh Khan. For Zimbabwe, Faraz Akram has replaced Wellington Masakadza in their lineup. India currently leads the five-match series 2-1.
"We'll bowl first. Looks like a fresh wicket. Hopefully, there's going to be something in it for the fast bowlers. The death bowling is where we can improve. We got a little complacent in the previous match. Tushar Deshpande makes his debut in place of Avesh Khan," said Shubman Gill.
The 2024 Indian tour of Zimbabwe has been thrilling. In a stunning opener, the Chevrons surprised the Men in Blue, leaving cricket pundits in shock. However, India bounced back with victories in the next two T20Is, reversing the momentum with their characteristic resilience.
